PART-TIME FINANCE OFFICER

We are looking for a highly organised and diligent Finance Officer to be responsible for the day-to-day management of Good Lad’s financial transactions and procedures. As a small organisation with big ambitions, we are keen to hire the right person who can implement seamless finance processes and create the operational foundations to help us achieve our exciting goals over the next few years.

This is a new post in the organisation and we are looking for someone to bring a great deal of focus and dedication to really make this role their own. Our ideal candidate is committed to getting tasks done to a high quality and in a timely manner and demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. The post-holder will be the key point of contact for staff and volunteers financial and accounting matters, and will liaise with external contractors and clients to manage third-party payments and expenses.

Role Information

  • Job Title: Finance Officer
  • Job Type: self-employed on a part-time, ongoing basis
  • Pay & Expenses: £16-£18 per hour, dependent on experience. Relevant travel expenses will be covered if required
  • Hours: Part-time, about 1 day per week (working hours are flexible and to be mutually agreed)
  • Duration: Permanent (with a three month review period)
  • Location: Home based
  • Reports To: National Director
  • Start Date: ASAP
